Better Homes And Gardens Double Ginger Cookies

How cute are these ridiculously easy treats? They're no trick at all to make. It's more of a ghost assembly project than a recipe. All you need is a package of Nutter Butter cookies, white chocolate, and mini chocolate chips.

Then follow these three simple steps:

1. Melt white chocolate according to package directions.

2. Swish cookies through melted white chocolate and set on wire rack or plate.

3. Place mini chocolate chips for eyes and mouth before the white chocolate sets up (I alternated swishing cookies and placing eyes and mouth, working on 4 or 5 at a time).

Tip: Children are a great help placing eyes and mouths. Also eating them.

For all the times I've made these cookies, I've never stopped to wonder what Geneva, the ghost in my Haunted Yarn Shop mysteries, would think of them. She might be tickled, or she might be hugely and billowingly insulted at the thought of eating ghosts. Can't you just hear her saying, "How rude!" I'm very fond of Geneva, but she isn't always the easiest dead person to get along with.
