AN Human activity TO AMEND Championship 29 OF THE DELAWARE Lawmaking RELATING TO THE DESIGNATION OF A STATE Wild animals ANIMAL.

BE IT ENACTED Past THE Full general ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE:

WHEREAS, many states have designated a state wildlife animal in symbolic recognition of their state'south natural heritage; and

WHEREAS, despite the rich multifariousness of Delaware's animal species, Delaware is i of only four states which has non designated a state wildlife beast; and

WHEREAS, 4th grade students at Joseph M. McVey Simple School, equally part of teacher Paul Sedacca's lessons on creative writing, take suggested that the gray trick be designated every bit Delaware's official state wildlife beast, and have written messages to their legislators supporting this designation; and
